The Nest Ministry - The Foundry Ran
Sunday night, Tuesday night and Thursday night transporting of members of the inner city homeless community and less fortunate to Changed Lives Christian Center for a meal served by different churches and their members. We partner in this ministry with Changed Lives Christian Center and the The Foundry.
The Nest Medical Night
On the 4th Tuesday of each month we partner with Changed Lives Christian Center, Cindy Underwood, The Foundry and different doctors and nurse volunteers. We bus the inner city homeless and less fortunate community to Changed Lives Christian Center where they are able to to get medical care and specific medication to ensure their quality of life remains at an acceptable level.
City Wide Prayer Vigils & Street Ministry
This involves going to different areas within the city for open public prayers and preaching. We go to all of the locations of recent homicides in the city and surrounding areas to sponsor prayer gatherings for the community and families which helps to bring spiritual peace to bad situations.
We also sponsor private prayer vigils for families, friends, and communities who are dealing with loss in their lives.
These events also let the families and friends of the homicide victims know that they are not alone. The power of prayer can change things immediately at times. Regardless of the details surrounding these prayer vigils, we have always seen light come from the darkness during and after. When the presence of the Spirit of the Lord is there, we can see always see the light.
We go to different inner-city of areas of cities for speaking's, teachings, or preaching on different subjects.
